DE BLAQUIÈRE Jean Baron I (P13073)
Baron de Blaquiere, of Ardkill in the County of Londonderry, was a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created in 1800 for the politician Sir John Blaquiere. He had already been created a Baronet, of Ardkill in the County of Londonderry, in the Baronetage of Ireland in 1784. Both titles became extinct in 1920 upon the death of his great-grandson, the sixth Baron who himself had lost his two sons during WW1.
